When airtightness testing is required by a municipality, we can work with your team to plan and perform airtightness testing.
As experts in the industry we work with construction teams to ensure that the proper strategies are implemented so that your projects airtightness targets are achieved.
A construction-phase airtightness test is an important process which allows us to understand the buildings airtightness before finishings have been installed. Performing an airtightness test while the air barrier system is still exposed means that we will be able to diagnose the sources of infiltration and work with your team to develop a remediation plan while on site so the problem areas can be addressed before finishings are installed.
In some municipalities and developments, EnerGuide Ratings are required for permits or code requirements for new homes. As an NRCan-licensed Service Organization, we are qualified to provide you EnerGuide Ratings
ENERGYSTAR for New Homes
Our experienced energy evaluators can work with you to achieve ENERGY STAR certification on your upcoming projects. ENERGY STAR means that the home is at least 20% more energy efficient, but it also means that the home will have greater occupant comfort and enhance their home ownership experience.
An important aspect of building an ENERGY STAR home is marketing the beneficial upgrades to homeowners. We’ll work with your team to ensure to provide effective marketing materials.
As experts in the industry, we’ll work with your team and manage the certification process from the initial design phase through to the final document submission to NRCan.
We provide all code compliance and consulting services for Part 3 or Part 9 MURBs, including energy modeling and airtightness testing and consulting.
